Seeking Digital Solutions for Better Hygiene

Background / Description:

It is projected for the world’s population to increase from 6 to 10 billion in the next 20 years. As the world population grows along with increasing cross-border migrational patterns, so will the transmission and easy spread of diseases and pathogens. Babies and children will be the most affected, due to their developing immunity systems, with the elderly also being another at-risk group. Good hygiene helps to prevent illnesses and keep our families, our loved ones and our communities healthy and happy. Digital technology can play an important role in this by providing the right hygiene education as well as the adjunctive products and services to enable healthier homes and happier families.

Technical Specifications:

We are seeking digital solutions that can enable better hygiene for use in homes and on-the-go (with localised services and information). Solutions that specifically target babies, the elderly and pregnant mums are also of interest.
We are looking at a commercialisation timeline of less than 5 years.
